Biden to give second-highest civilian award to Liz Cheney for working on J6 Committee

Well, it isn't a preemptive pardon, but it's something.

President Biden is awarding 20 people with the Presidential Citizens Medal today, the second-highest civilian honor behind the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and two of the recipients are J6 "un-select committee" members.

President Joe Biden is bestowing the second highest civilian medal on Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson โ€” the lawmakers who led the congressional investigation into the violent Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riot by Donald Trump's supporters, and who Trump has said should be jailed.

This is the ultimate participation trophy, isn't it?

Biden is congratulating Cheney for betraying her party, betraying her country, and making every single effort to be sure Donald Trump didn't make it back to the White House.

Remember, a House report recently suggested an investigation into Cheney for witness tampering, so of course it makes sense that she's getting an award!

Biden is also using the ceremony to promote LGBT gay stuff, because that's really been the number one motivator of his entire administration.

Biden is also giving the award to attorney Mary Bonauto, who fought to legalize same-sex marriage, and Evan Wolfson, a leader of the marriage equality movement.

Just 18 more days until the adults are back in charge.
