Biden refuses to extend student loan relief after promising to "eliminate a lot of your student debt" on the campaign trail
· Dec 14, 2021 · NottheBee.com

Remember how Biden said he was going to give you $2,000 checks if you voted him in, and then only gave everyone $1,400?

Remember when he celebrated saving you 16 cents on your July 4th cookout, but then kept trying to kill the economy so Thanksgiving was ridiculously expensive?

Remember when he said he'd eliminate at least $10,000 off everyone's student loans?

Yeah, it's funny that some of y'all believed him.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed to reporters during a press briefing that the Biden administration won't extend student loan relief — and the student loan payment pause will end January 31, 2022. (No, Biden won't extend student loan relief again).

Yikes!

Joe Biden to the American people:

Let's tune into random people on Twitter to get the general pulse of the nation.

Joe Biden's super-lefty friends ain't happy with this announcement, either:

Progressive members of Congress, leading advocacy groups and student loan borrowers have lobbied President Joe Biden to extend the student loan payment pause beyond January 31, 2022... They cite potential financial devastation for millions of borrowers if temporary student loan forbearance isn't extended. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) say that 89% of student loan borrowers feel financially unprepared to restart student loan payments. They also argue that nine million student loan borrowers in default will suffer further financial detriment.

Of course, if you ask me, the indoctrination camps called universities these days should be shuttered, the federal government should get out of subsiding higher ed, teens should be protected from borrowing vast sums of money they can't comprehend, and the welfare state should be broken down into tiny pieces and then ground into dust.

But if you don't agree with me on those little details, hopefully we can agree on one thing:

Joe Biden seems really bad at keeping his promises.
