President Biden just offered comments after a U.S. fighter jet shot down the Chinese spy balloon that has been hovering over America for days, saying he ordered the Pentagon on Wednesday to shoot it down "as soon as possible":
"I told them to shoot it down ... Wednesday. They said to me, 'Let's wait for the safest place to do it.'"
