Bill Maher explains why so many left-wingers are no longer suitable for the Democratic Party: "My politics hasn't changed. They've changed."

Bill Maher is one of the most well-known progressives of our time. He's an animal rights activist, a universal healthcare proponent, an atheist, and he's regularly used his comedy and satire to make right-wing ideology look foolish.

Well, the tables have turned, and Maher's relationship with the Left is waning. In fact, he's more often featured in right-wing media these days. The Left is basically ghosting the guy, and they act as if he's not left-wing enough, or "not like he used to be," as I've heard some progressives say.

Well, here's Maher on why that is:

I haven't changed at all. My politics hasn't changed. They've changed. People say to me sometimes, ‘have you changed?' No. It's that five years ago no one was talking about defunding the police. I never heard that phrase five years ago. That's not me changing. That's things changing. I'm reacting to it as I've always been. Letting 3-year-olds decide what gender they are–this wasn't something five years ago. Free speech used to be a left-wing thing that we were proud and owned and now that seems to be under attack. So again, I think I've stayed the same.

Yeah dude, Maher's just telling it like it is here. The world's gone crazy recently, and it's not just righties who see it. That's why A BUNCH of lefties look as if they're going Republican.

They're not. They just see the same thing everyone else sees. And it's not good. Not at all!
