Welp, here's where woke gets you.

An 18-year-old black man accused of spraying a Washington DC neighborhood in a hail of bullets was just let go on bail by a judge who is unapologetically woke.

Judge Lloyd U. Nolan Jr., a self-described 'woke' magistrate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, ruled that Amonte Moody, 18, be released on bail ahead of his trial.

The 18-year-old allegedly peppered a street with 26 rounds while targeting a car of four people at 2:30am on April 22, with Ring doorbell footage capturing a suspect shooting wildly from the hip with the assault rifle.

How can a judge see a kid accused of firing dozens of shots in the middle of the night around his neighborhood, just for fun, with video evidence, and decide, "We'll let him sit at home until the trial"?

Is this not the definition of a man who can't be trusted on his own? Do we really think a GPS tracker is enough security for this dude? Who's to say this nut wouldn't just stay home and shoot out his window?

But the judge is "woke," you see. And this is what wokeness is all about.

After his decision raised eyebrows, Fox News reported that his online presence included a post where he said he was 'still woke', and another where he donated to a fundraiser supporting a George Soros-backed professor.

After the alleged shooting, Moody disassembled his gun, hid the pieces in the attic, and it took police multiple searches to find it. They sent him before the judge and then the judge decided he would slap an ankle monitor on him and send him away.

Somehow this man wasn't considered particularly dangerous by the judge?

Residents on the street where Moody allegedly opened fire reacted with fury following Nolan's ruling on May 3, which will also see Moody fitted with an ankle monitor and ordered to avoid the people he allegedly aimed at.

Well, yeah. Duh.

How the heck are they supposed to react to this news that an alleged mad gunman is being put back into their neighborhood?

They were fortunate no one was hurt or injured during the spree, and the judge is putting him out there for a potential round 2?

Following the backlash, the DC Court System said that the defense 'relied heavily' on Moody's previously clean rap sheet, and he was provided educational support and community resources.

Oh, well he's getting "educational support" and "community resources." The reason he shot up a neighborhood in a flurry of gunfire probably had to do with the fact that he didn't understand how to properly handle conflict.

A social worker and community organizer can handle this, right?
