Border officials say they ended 2023 with ANOTHER month exceeding 300,000 border crossings, with expectations that it will break the record

This headline from the regime media, CBS this time, tells several stories in one.

Yeah, the word "process" is doing a LOT of heavy lifting in this story.

As of yesterday, border officials thought December 2023 would be the biggest month EVER for illegal immigration.

But CBS seems to be behind the times. The House Committee on Homeland Security released a report about border crossings in August, noting that there were over 300,000. The Washington Examiner notes there were specifically 304,162 in August, while there were 302,412 in December 2022.

(Meanwhile, Fox says the number for December 2023 was a record at 302,000 so apparently no one really knows!)

But nice of CBS to finally note the scale of the mass insanity that's occurring!

The extraordinary number of migrant arrivals this month is the most dire juncture yet of a three-year-long crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border that has strained resources in small and large U.S. communities, left countless of migrants in limbo, prompted lawmakers to consider drastically limiting asylum and created a major political vulnerability for President Biden as he seeks reelection.

A three-year crisis?

Now what happened 3 years ago that could have triggered what even the corporate media recognizes as a crisis on the southern border?

Before December, the highest number of illegal migrants in a single month ever recorded was September of 2023, with 270,000. Just over a quarter million.

In the fiscal year, which ended in October, Biden had allowed approximately 1.4 million illegal aliens into the country while actively fighting against efforts to curb the rate of immigration.

That's more people than reside in nearly 11 states.

There are more illegal immigrants in the US that entered during the 2023 fiscal year than there are people in Maine, Vermont, Wyoming, and 7 other states and the District of Columbia.

But don't call it an invasion!
