Boris Johnson, who introduced voter ID law in 2022, turned away from polls after forgetting ID
· May 3, 2024 · NottheBee.com

Bro, Boris Johnson's government implemented voter ID laws in the Elections Act of 2022 but the former UK prime minister forgot to bring his ID to the polling place on Thursday to vote in a local election.

Yes, he was turned away and had to come back with proper identification!

He was even holding a Diet Coke in one hand and a chocolate croissant in the other, but they still didn't realize it was him!

🤣🤣🤣

Sorry, couldn't help it.

Former U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson was turned away from his local polling station Thursday as he failed [to] bring with him photo identification, which is required under a relatively new law introduced by his government two years ago.

At least he knows voter ID laws works!!

Polling station staff in Johnson's constituency of South Oxfordshire were forced to turn the former Conservative party chief away as Johnson attempted to cast his ballot in local elections, as first reported by the U.K.'s Sky News.

Johnson later returned with the necessary ID to cast his vote.

Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of voter ID laws, but this was just too funny not to share.
