Exciting news for breakfast lovers and alcoholics alike, Waffle House is releasing a new beer called Bacon and Kegs from Oconee Brewing Company in Georgia.
The beverage is a bacon-infused red ale and somehow it might actually be one of the least gross things to ever come out of a Waffle House. The Oconee Brewing Company made the announcement on Instagram and rednecks across the country are rushing to the corner store.
The new drink will be tough to get ahold of, however, as reported at Delish.
Don't rush out to your local liquor store to grab them just yet though. The beer won't be available until Friday, December 18 and unfortunately, for those not local to the state of Georgia, you'll only be able to nab it at the Greensboro brewery. If you want to take a drive up to Oconee Brewery, however, you'll be able to purchase the ale in six-packs of 12 ounce cans or on draft.
For years, inebriated college students have had to make the 3 AM decision to stop drinking and head to the local Waffle House where they could eat breakfast off a sticky table while a strange man plays Free Bird on the jukebox 12 times in a row. Now, they can get the whole experience in a can. Or on draft.
God bless America.
