Judge slaps Fani Willis on wrist, says she can stay on Trump case if she fires her lover

Seems like a slap on the wrist, not gonna lie.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled on Friday morning that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis should not be disqualified from the Georgia election case against Trump and his associates.According to NBC News, McAfee found the "appearance of impropriety" brought about by Willis's romantic relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, saying that this should result in either Willis and her office leaving the case.

McAfee wrote that there was no "actual conflict" brought about by the relationship, a finding that was required to have Willis disqualified.

It used to be that a partisan official looking to destroy political opponents had to live up to certain standards. Paying your married lover to be the point person on your attempt to destroy your opponents would have gotten you thrown in jail for life.

Remember, far-left MSNBC said it would be "game over" for her.

But McAfee doesn't seem to think there's any actual conflict here. Nope, just a strong black woman hiring her married lover to prosecute a former president of the United States in a bid to keep him from winning reelection.

Yeah...

You've got to wonder, why would McAfee judge this way?

A shorter way of saying it:

Welcome to Split-Baby Justice 101.

McAfee really said this:

Without sufficient evidence that the District Attorney acquired a personal stake in the prosecution, or that her financial arrangements had any impact on the case, the Defendants' claims of an actual conflict must be denied.

All she needs to do is remove her lover from the case - sure, they can chat about it at night in bed and continue to conspire against President Trump - but Wade won't technically be paid to be her point person.

Totally fair, right??

Yeah, that's only what happens in a serious country.

And we don't live in one anymore.
