Not all kitchen knives need to have a point on them. That sounds like a crazy thing to say but it actually would reduce - you know, you can still cut your food without a point on the knife which is sort of an innovative way to look at it.
He also thinks that, in addition to taking the points off knives, that registering heritage swords will somehow help end violent crime in the UK.
I don't seem to remember the UK having mass-stabbing problems before they imported a bunch of people from Islamic countries.
Idris, have you considered that it's NOT the knives and the swords? That it's the bad guys themselves that are the problem?
