This sounds like something out of a comedy movie:

Bro had a leaf blow into his mouth and then, like a normal person, he spit it out.

Well, that'll get you fined $335 for littering in Lincolnshire.

Fortunately, this man, Roy Marsh, 86, had his fine lowered to around $200.

From People:

Roy Marsh, 86, was in Lincolnshire, England, earlier this year, when he spit out a leaf that blew into his mouth, leading to a fine.

'As I was sitting there, a gale blew a big reed into my mouth,' he recalled to the BBC, referring to the plant part of the grass family. 'I spat it out, and just as I got up to walk away, two [enforcement officers] came up to me.'

After Marsh called one of the officers a "silly boy" for attempting to enforce a littering law on a man who had just spit out a leaf that had blown into his mouth, Marsh was handed a ticket.

Marsh ended up receiving a fine of $334.50, though it was later reduced on appeal to $200.70. The man paid the latter.

Apparently Lincolnshire is known for liberally handing out these littering tickets, and they're being called on to tone it down, lest people stop visiting their city.
