Singer Britney Spears, who has been on a bit of a downward spiral lately, again, reveals in a new memoir that she and her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake were pregnant while they were both around 19 years old ... and that she was pressured by the fellow pop star to kill their child.

In the book, Britney writes, "I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I'd anticipated." But, she says Justin felt they weren't ready, because they were too young -- both were around 19 at the time.

According to the book, Britney says she was "conflicted," but after some difficult, emotional discussions, they both agreed getting an abortion was the right decision.

This was in the early 2000s. Spears, like any mother with maternal instincts, was unsure about the decision, but she says Timberlake convinced Spears to kill their child because they were too young for the responsibility.

Today, it's used as an example of Spears' empowerment. But at the time, and this is important, Spears went along with Justin's suggestion because she believed that one day they would be married.

Spears didn't believe in abortion, she said, having been raised by parents who didn't believe in the practice and also offered moral, religious reasons as to why not to abort a child.

Now, I don't want to get into celebrity gossip and gritty details. But I do want to point out just how depraved Hollywood is and how much this has influenced culture.

This was done quietly in the early 2000s. But today Hollywood is all about shouting your abortion. It's empowering! Just ask Britney!

According to TMZ, Spears didn't move on from her abortion.

The decision to have an abortion haunted Britney for years ... something she spoke about in private.

There are millions of women who feel this way, and even if they did speak out, they would be treated nastily by the abortion crowd that tells them their sadness is wrong.

Abortion is sold as something that frees women. In reality, it burdens women. A life was ended. We all pretend there's no consequences to that, but deep down we know better.

Since then, Spears has obviously had a messed up life filled with high highs and very low lows.

You have to wonder how different her life might have gone if she had listened to her parents and God... and spared her child's life.
