CNN gets roasted for saying high gas prices aren't Biden's fault

Does the C in CNN stand for "Clown"?

Biden is getting raked over the coals by Americans everywhere for high gas prices. So, naturally, CNN took it upon themselves to run damage control for their Lord and Savior, Joe Biden.

"But the truth is the White House isn't to blame for high gas prices — and has few options to lower them," CNN Business said.

To be fair, there are all kinds of factors that contribute to high gas prices, meaning we should be able to say that it's not 100% Biden's fault.

"You can't really place the blame of the swing itself on the president who is in power. These are largely market forces that aren't immediately impacted by any one administration," said Joel Griffith, a research fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

On the other hand, Griffith said Biden's "longer-term impact on the future of U.S. energy is concerning," adding that Biden's policies have been "trying to put a cap" on U.S. fossil fuel production. Griffith noted other economic concerns, such as the Biden administration's opposition to the Keystone XL pipeline and restrictions of energy development on federal land.

So, while it's not entirely Biden's fault, is CNN really incapable of saying the executive actions of the U.S president (including previous administrations) aren't on of that list of factors contributing to higher prices?

In April, CNN (yeah, the same "news" organization) published a headline that said, "All that stimulus is sending inflation higher."

Gee, CNN! Who do you think authorized "that stimulus"? I'll go ahead and connect the dots for you. It's the President of the United States of America.

Let me get this straight. Biden gets to take credit that Fourth of July meals are 16 cents cheaper, but gas prices have nothing to do with him. Am I following your non-sense correctly, CNN?

Here are some of the social media putdowns in response to CNN's propaganda masquerading as "analysis."

I saved the best post for last... CNN's very own Wolf Blitzer posting his Ls online, which he and other Biden voters have been doing a lot of lately.
