California is about to ban Skittles, just in case you needed another reason to leave that commie hellscape

Californians may have just tasted their last rainbow.

Just in case you were still wavering over whether or not to get the heck out of California, this latest move from their state assembly is sure to push you over the edge.

In new legislation that passed the assembly and is likely to pass the senate, California is banning a particular food additive found in many foods, including Skittles, effectively banning the wonderful fruity candy from the state.

The bill would prohibit the manufacture, sale or distribution of products containing red dye No. 3, titanium dioxide, potassium bromate, brominated vegetable oil or propyl paraben in the Golden State.

That dadgum Red Dye No. 3, the one that makes crunchy moms think their kids are misbehaving, is now going to be banned in California.

No more Skittles, no more Hot Tamales.

If passed and signed into law, AB 418 would require food and beverage companies to change the recipes in order for their products to be sold in California, which Gabriel (legislative sponsor) believes would also force them to change their formulas for the entire U.S.

This is a nanny state on steroids!

Their expressed reasoning is that these companies will change the formula for the entire country because apparently, as California goes, so must the nation.

Conservative Californians, get outta there! Here's a live view of states like Tennessee for you:

Come on in, the water's fine.
