"WELCOME TO CANADA WHERE THEY PADLOCK THE CHURCH ON THANKSGIVING," pastor Phil Hutchings said in all-caps.

FYI: Thanksgiving in Canada is on the second Monday in October. Yeah, I just found out.

New Brunswick police arrested associate pastor Cody Butler on Sunday at His Tabernacle Family Church after holding a worship service that exceeded the "health limit" arbitrarily set by the government. Authorities literally padlocked the church.

"They came harassing me this morning at my home againโ€ฆafter the court told them not to return to our residence for any correspondence. Now Public Safety has issued closure of our church doors even after we complied," Hutchings said.

His Tabernacle Family Church will be allowed to reopen if they obey Section 3 and Section 15 of New Brunswick's stupid "Preventative Measures - Public Health Act," which rightfully deserves to be put in quotation marks.

Section 3 says "owners occupiers, and managers" must demand "proof-of-vaccination" from attendees of "indoor gatherings." Churches were given an exception if they didn't want to comply with the vaccine mandate, under these terms: 50 percent capacity, no singing, everyone wears a mask, two meters distance between people.

Why is it 50 percent capacity? Why is it two meters? I could go on forever with such questions because it's all arbitrary. These "health limits" are unhealthy and unscientific. Trying to strong-arm people into vaccination is evil.

Section 15 says publicly accessible facilities must allow police and "health" officials access to the facility for inspections.

"Church isn't just Sunday services. THEY HAVE OFFICIALLY SHUT DOWN MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES & COMMUNITY OUTREACHES & FEEDING PROGRAMS," Hutchings said. "Contact their office today and demand justice & resignations."

Legal team "Fight the Fines" is representing the church in its effort to fight the recent arrest and shutdown of their church.
