Canadian Cancer Society sorry for saying "cervix" instead of "front hole"

According to the Canadian Cancer Society, anyone can get cervical cancer, including men!

On a web page dedicated to cervical cancer, the Cancer Society had to apologize for calling the cervix by its technical name instead of using a term like "front hole."

They stated that "men can have these body parts too," that "words matter," and some people may be offended by the term "cervix."

This entire page on the Canadian Cancer Society's official website is dedicated explicitly to cervical cancer screening ... I mean, "front hole" cancer screening for LGBTQ people.

Trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse people face significant barriers to accessing healthcare and are less likely than cisgender people to be screened for cancer.

In a "words matter" section on the page, the Cancer Society made amends for possibly offending some non-binary and transgender folks by using proper medical terms. It acknowledged that some prefer the term "front hole" to describe female genitalia.

We recognize that many trans men and non-binary people may have mixed feelings about or feel distanced from words like 'cervix.' You may prefer other words, such as 'front hole.' We recognize the limitations of the words we've used while also acknowledging the need for simplicity.

This isn't the first time we've heard the super awkward phrase.

The terms "front hole" and "bonus hole" have been popularized and pushed by LGBTQ activists as alternatives to the biologically correct term "vagina." It's just another example of activists objectifying, dehumanizing, and erasing women.

In 2022, most (sane-minded) people were furious when Boston Children's Hospital started using the term "front hole." Not to be outdone, other women's health organizations also jumped on the bandwagon.

Julie Burchill, a British gender-critical writer, accused LGBT activists of erasing women by hopping on the new terminology bandwagon in an essay titled, My vagina is Not a ‘bonus hole' that was published in Spiked last year.

Both 'bonus hole' and 'front hole' are recommended as trans-friendly alternatives to vagina. Trans ideologues have long tried to erase or appropriate any word that is specific to females - from woman to mother and now vagina. And they have gained a foothold in our schools and in our media. Now gynaecological-health providers are swallowing the stupid pills, too.

What a time to be alive.
