Canadian Freedom Convoy organizer FINALLY released from jail after nearly 3 weeks in pre-trial detention for "inciting mischief"

Remember when the Canadian government was throwing peaceful protesters in jail?

Yeah, so... one of the main Freedom Convoy organizers has been sitting behind bars for the last 18 days and was just FINALLY released on Monday.

Tamara Lich was taken into custody by Ottawa Police on Feb. 17. On Fed. 22, Lich was denied bail by a judge named Justice Julie Bourgeoisโ€“ who was a former Liberal Party candidate... so, um.. no bias there or anything...

Last week, Lich was back in front of a judge requesting a bail review and on Monday, March 7 she was finally granted bail.

Tamara was greeted by a crowd of people. She hugged her family and her smile was seen even through her mask.

Once released, Lich had 24 hours to leave Ottawa and 72 hours to leave Ontario (the province). She was also ordered to stay off social media, not protest against Covid policies, not have contact with any of the co-accused and not allow others to post messages on her behalf.

This is just sick.

They handcuffed and arrested Lich on the streets, then threw her in jail for 18 days like she was some sort of violent criminal.

All for the bogus charge of "inciting mischief."

Insane.
