First, we were told it wasn't happening: That young people aren't keeling over from heart problems at a higher rate than normal.
Then, once it was undeniable, the blame game started and we were told SOMETHING is killing young people, but there was no way it was the new experimental drug they tried to mandate everyone take.
No, seriously, that was next:
But of all the insane things they have tried to blame the rise in heart-related deaths among young people on, climate change, eggs, and voting Republican, this may be the most blatantly stupid one yet.
Now they want you to think young people are getting heart attacks because they AREN'T vaccinated.
First, she tried to blame it on Covid.
Then one anchor pointed out that Covid doesn't affect young people that severely, yet they are the ones who are dying more often from heart attacks.
The response?
Younger people were less likely to protect themselves against Covid than older people, less likely to mask, less likely to take other mitigation measures. And they were also farther back in line to get vaccinated, so they were not protected with vaccination until later in the pandemic. Those might have been a factor here.
There's no proof of any of the claims here.
She's making stuff up based on her own prior political and professional position.
