Video surfaces of Psaki 2 years ago laughing at Biden's gaffes: "What on earth is happening right now?"
· Nov 15, 2021 ·

Imagine being the official press secretary for the leader of the free world two years after you made this comment about him:

I can hear a few of you shrieking that this clip was probably taken out of context, but hold your horses, Jethro, 'cuz I've got the receipts.

Here's the full context of the clip, where Psaki is talking on CNN with others about offensive comments Biden made in 2019 during a town hall:

PANELIST: "Can someone give him a list of things NOT to say in this forum, and he just like read, 'cause top of the list would be 'gay bath houses' and 'around the clock sex.' Those would be the two things."

JAKE TAPPER: "Does it concern you at all? It seems like another, uh, record player moment, kind of, to me."

PSAKI: "Yeah. Look, there have been a number of moments where even those of us who have affection for Vice President Biden think what on Earth is happening right now. But there still continues to be affection from the American public, including within the Democratic primary voters for him. And part of his appeal is that he says things that your uncle says and people feel comfortable with him and it's a return to normalcy. So yes, that was a weird comment, I'm not sure it's going to impact him in the long run."

The panel was discussing Joe's specific performance at the LGTBQRSTUV town hall on October 11, 2019, where he had a few... awkward moments.

Again, Jen Psaki was more than willing to throw Joe under the bus as the awkward "uncle" who makes weird comments but feels "comfortable." For that honor, she is now Biden's official mouthpiece?

You can't make it up.

Good thing his off-color comments won't "impact him in the long run," Jen!
