Check out the chaos that ensued after Janet Jackson said Kamala Harris isn’t black

Isn't it amazing how decades of being a beloved pop icon can vanish in media cancellation with one wrong phrase these days?

For example, when Janet Jackson gave a recent interview with The Guardian, she said she'd heard Kamala isn't black and that her dad is white (her dad is a black Jamaican but her great-great-great-great grandfather Hamilton Brown was reportedly an Irish slaveowner).

Here's how the Guardian journalist tried to frame it:

On that record she sang about 'joining voices in protest to social injustice' and 'pushing toward a world rid of colour lines'. I wonder where she stands on the forthcoming election. After all, I say, America could be on the verge of voting in its first black female president, Kamala Harris.

And here was Jackson's response:

Well, you know what they supposedly said? She's not black. That's what I heard. That she's Indian.

Wait! Is she saying Kamala didn't vote for Joe?

Anyway, you can imagine how the Democrat-run media reacted to reading that:

And of course, the next part makes every freedom-loving American cringe:

Janet Jackson's misinformation apology hit the news waves.

Mo Elmasri, who was identified as Jackson's manager, said the singer was sorry about her Guardian comments, which were made 'based on misinformation,' while adding that Jackson now acknowledges that Harris is of Black and Indian descent.

Well, it's over.

She's bought her ticket to Cancel Town.

You can have a "wardrobe malfunction" at the Super Bowl, but you can't apologize to the woke mob and survive!

But as it turns out, she didn't apologize. Jackson fought back.

It turned out she had not authorized that release.

Here manager, Elmasri, sent out an apology without her permission.

And the rep was promptly fired!

'Janet Jackson fired me due to disagreements between me, her, and Randy, after her meeting with the Guardian and her unbalanced statements,' Mo Elmasri told the Daily Beast in an emailed statement.

Who knew Janet Jackson was so based?
