This isn't satire. This is a real thing the City of Minneapolis just posted.
I never knew Minneapolis was ruled by the Hutts!
Here's what the message says in Minneapolis' old language (English):
The message from the city comes after multiple fraud rings involving hundreds of millions of dollars have been exposed within the Somali migrant community in Minnesota. In addition to dozens of ongoing criminal trials, recent reports claim the stolen tax money is being funneled to Islamic jihadi groups like Al-Shabaab in East Africa.
In response, Trump revoked Temporary Protected Status for Somalians, a refugee status that is only supposed to last for 18-months but is often extended for years or decades because our system is broken.
Minneapolis wants to protect the Somali terror financiers who are stealing our Medicaid money, however!
Real Minnesotans are not happy.
Ironically, the only reason Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey was able to win reelection against a Somali candidate was because he harnessed his inner Lawrence of Arabia and exploited the tribal racism/prejudice that has existed for hundreds of years among Somali clan groups, which have been locked in a bitter civil war for decades.
As it turns out, these migrants fled the conflict started by their own religious and ethnic hatred, but then brought that religious and ethnic hatred with them to Minnesota.
And instead of calling them out for it, or the gazillion dollars they've stolen from Minnesotans to send overseas for Islamic terrorism, the state's largest city is doubling down on protecting them.
