This gnarly video of a two-headed California Kingsnake eating two mice at the same time was originally posted on Instagram by the owner of Detroit's Reptarium Zoo, Brian Barczyk.
The snake's name is Ben and Jerry, and according to Barczyk:
Ben and Jerry have what is termed polycephaly, a non-hereditary condition that causes a malformation in the developing embryo and can result in two heads forming.
The freak of nature will soon be on display at The Reptarium, which is said to house nine other one-of-a-kind animals, including a two-headed turtle.
