In the flaming wreckage that is 2020, it's great to see elements of the human spirit untarnished by the chaos.
After being hired at The Spot Sports Bar and Grill in Georgia, 21-year-old Kayallah Jones calmly walked out of the restaurant, found a spot between two vehicles, looked around to ensure she wasn't going to embarrass herself in public, and then broke out into a happy dance that's gone viral this week.
Jones had reportedly been searching for a job for months, but hadn't been able to with the COVID-19 lockdowns that have shut down businesses left and right.
The restaurant's manager, Dakara Spence, caught Jones dancing in the parking lot and shared the video to social, where it picked up enough momentum to land the two women on the Ellen show.
Just think, when state and local governments stop restricting daily life and allow people to get back to have things like jobs, businesses, and dignity once again, there will be millions of people like Jones doing happy dances across the nation.
Or we might have Biden. Either or.
