So here's the current state of the "jury of your peers" in Chicago.
A jury decided that a high ranking member of the Latin Kings gang was not guilty of putting out a hit on Greg Bovino, the Border Patrol head honcho.

Sure, he's the leader of a foreign gang, and sure he put out a snapchat saying he had a reward waiting for people who took down Bovino, but it must have been a joke because he only has $20 in his bank account.
Because mobs and gangs would never deal in cash.
ONE of the recipients was injured and Martinez only had 20 bucks in the bank. Therefore he's innocent.
Never mind that he never said anything to indicate he wasn't serious.
Never mind that no one disputes that he sent the message.
A Chicago jury has spoken.
