I think this guy just needs to get a real job at this point.
Charles Bedaiko left the University of Alabama for the NBA draft with two seasons of eligibility left after the 2023 season. Since then he went undrafted and signed two way contracts with multiple G League NBA teams.
And in the middle of the 2026 basketball season, after 3 years out of school, he's returning to college.
Yeah, this is absolutely crazy.
Here's On3:
According to Nick Kelly of AL.com, former Alabama center Charles Bediako has been granted a temporary restraining order after suing the NCAA. This means he is immediately eligible to participate in basketball-related activities with the Crimson Tide, including games.
'News: Charles Bediako has been granted a temporary restraining order and is immediately eligible to participate in all Alabama basketball activities and games, per court documents obtained by @aldotcom,' Kelly said via X. 'This will remain in effect for 10 days or until a hearing on the motion for a preliminary injunction is conducted. A hearing is set for Jan. 27.'
The dude went to the 2023 draft, played pro ball (not in the NBA) in '23, '24, and 25 ... and now he's coming back to college.
And he'll probably make more money in college.
Lebron technically still has all 4 years of eligibility remaining. And given today's college and NIL rules ...
A Tuscaloosa court, you say?
Supporters, Alabama coach Nate Oats, and Athletic Director Greg Byrne all contend that it's no different than other NCAA teams playing professionals from Euro leagues who never played college ball in the first place.

There's no doubt that the NCAA system is no longer a "student athlete" league but a professional league by another name now.
Bama plays Tennessee today and say they will play Bediako. The NCAA has not said whether or not the game will count.
