The earth shook last night when Politico reported on a leak from the Supreme Court that indicated that Roe V. Wade would be overturned.

The leak was likely an attempt by some staffer at the Supreme Court to cause an uproar and pressure the SCOTUS into changing their opinion on the abortion case.

It was, of course, a wicked and unprecedented attack on the Court.

Shortly after the leak, it was reported that Chief Justice Roberts wanted to get to the bottom of this and that he might use the FBI to investigate.

According to the CBS report, Roberts will likely launch an investigation into the leak.

It's not clear what the result of the investigation would bring or which laws have been broken.

The leaker should, obviously, be held responsible to the fullest extent of the law.

UPDATE: It looks like Roberts has directed the marshal of the Supreme Court to start the investigation:

Unfortunately, likely nothing will happen and he or she will be hailed as a hero of the left and maybe get their own CNN show. 😒
