Do you want to know what it looks like to live in a communist society?

Here you go:

Yep, the Chinese Communist Party has now mandated that kids can only play video games three hours a week, and only between 8 and 9 at night. They'll also get to play them on some holidays (if Emperor Xi is feeling nice).

If you're wondering how they'll manage this, remember that most video games are online these days and that the CCP controls both the internet and the companies that make the games.

From Variety:

The [National Press and Publication Administration] puts the burden of responsibility on companies like Tencent and NetEase Games by requiring them to enforce real-name usage, to disallow any unregistered players, and to come up with systems that manage tens of millions of individual players' usage.

Currently, Big Brother allows children to have 90 minutes a day. Notice that what the parents think isn't considered because the parents have no rights over their kids in such a system. Only the government does!

Who is pushing for this, you ask?

I'll give you one guess.

In a speech in March, China's president Xi Jinping called gaming addiction among teenagers a "social problem." Earlier this month, the Economic Information Daily, a publication affiliated to Xinhua described online gaming as "spiritual opium."

For all you Antifa neckbeards who fight for communism between your World of Warcraft gaming sessions in your parents' basement, how does this make you feel?

If you think the glorious revolution means as many pizzas and raiding sessions as you want, you've been seriously misinformed!

I mean, I don't disagree that video game addiction is a problem.

That said, do you fix the problem of gaming addiction โ€“ or any type of vice โ€“ through strict laws imposed on all of human society that regulate their entire daily schedule, or by changing the human heart and its priorities by learning to love God and each other?

I guess time will tell!
