VIDEO: Chinese fighter jet harasses US B-52 bomber over South China Sea, coming within 10 feet – yes, TEN FEET – of the aircraft πŸ‘€

It seems like everywhere you look these days you get a little "World War III incoming" alert. Take this, for instance: A U.S. B-52 bomber was flying over the South China Sea (we know how much China hates this), and then this happened.

That Chinese Shenyang J-11 not only harassed the U.S. bomber, but it came within 10 flippin' feet of it.

The Chinese Shenyang J-11 rapidly approached the US B-52 bomber on Tuesday over the South China Sea and came within 10 feet of contact, the U.S. military said Thursday.

The plane harassed the B-52 briefly, flying close at "uncontrolled excessive speed, flying below, in front of, and within 10 feet of the B-52, putting both aircraft in danger of a collision," according to U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.

Yo, think about how close 10 feet is when you're flying one of these jets.

They are taunting us!

If a Chinese fighter jet flew that close to me I don't know if I could show that amount of composure. Good on the pilot. Dude could've started World War III if he wanted to. Tensions are high out there.

Of course, China says we shouldn't be flexing our muscles in their waters; meanwhile, we remind them that international law allows us to fly there. And now we all go back to making our preparations for the war in the Middle East.

Fun stuff right here. Can't wait to see what the weekend holds in store for us.
