In China flight attendants might soon be wearing diapers...because Covid
· Dec 11, 2020 · NottheBee.com

Hey, need more proof that it's 2020?'

Well, here you go: in order to stop the spread of Covid, flight attendants in China are now being encouraged to wear diapers while working.

That's not a joke. It's serious.

TAKE COVID SERIOUSLY!

No, really, this is a real thing.

Here's CNN.

(CNN is not a satire site...yet)

So basically the Civil Aviation Administration of China released some new Covid guidelines for the airline industry.

A section on PPE advises cabin crew on flights to and from high-risk countries to wear "medical masks, double-layer disposable medical gloves, goggles, disposable hats, disposable protective clothing, and disposable shoe covers."

The next sentence reads: "It is recommended that cabin crew members wear disposable diapers and avoid using the lavatories barring special circumstances to avoid infection risks."

So yeah, I get it, I really do. The chances of catching any sort of virus is greatly decreased when you avoid the tiny public bathroom on an airplane. That's just true.

But this is a little extreme, right? A little extreme even for 2020.

Okay, so let's be real. Do I really want a stewardess dropping off my gin and tonic while she stands there in a full diaper?

No. I don't.

Would it be pleasant if every time my flight attendant walked by I got a whiff of his turds?

No. Gross.

And what would you do if you worked as a flight attendant and you were asked to use only your diaper for bathrooming while on the plane?

Would you ask questions about SCIENCE?

Or would you just enjoy the liberty of using the bathroom whenever you feel like it?

I guess it Depends.

Please laugh.
