There's nothing like entering Black History Month by completely forgetting the existence of the first black Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall.
That's exactly what Chuck Schumer did Thursday while addressing the Senate to support Biden nominating the next judge to the Supreme Court on the basis of race and sex.
Until 1981, this powerful body, the Supreme Court, was all White men. Imagine. America wasn't all White men in 1981, or ever. Under President Biden and this Senate majority, we're taking historic steps to make the courts look more like the country they serve.
Great point, Chuck.
Except for someone you seem to have forgotten...

This is sure to come as a surprise to the progressive justice. He had no idea that he was a white man.
So... Schumer is celebrating Black History Month by erasing a very celebrated and admired justice to make a current political statement.
Just perfect.
