It's been a heck of month for the Church of England so far.

First, they chose a super-woke woman to lead the denomination

Now, the dean of Canterbury has decided to invite graffiti "artists" to spray woke slogans all over England's oldest cathedral. 👇

The Church of England decided this week to cover the interior of the oldest cathedral in England in graffiti in order to represent the voices of 'marginalised communities.'

The Very Rev David Monteith, Dean of Canterbury, said: 'There is a rawness which is magnified by the graffiti style, which is disruptive. It is unfiltered and not sanitised.'

'This exhibition intentionally builds bridges between cultures, styles and genres and allows us to receive the gifts of younger people who have much to say.'

It's actually stunning how much the elite of Britain hate their own culture and civilisation.

You couldn't even invent this as satire.

They are literally scrawling graffiti on the walls of ancient cathedrals. Everything beautiful is just torn down and destroyed.

Nothing says "sanctuary" and "reverence" quite like ... disgusting modern street art?

The Times has more about the unconventional artwork:

Visitors to Canterbury Cathedral were shocked this week to find its walls and pillars covered in graffiti, leaving the interior of the ancient building looking like what one described as 'an underground car park in Peckham' ...

The brightly coloured graffiti-style images are actually part of an art installation that has, by the cathedral's own admission, 'divided public opinion'.

They couldn't display their graffiti artwork just anywhere? They had to do it in a sacred space?

This is the guy whose idea it was to deface the inside of a Christian cathedral:

The display isn't actual spray paint, but rather temporary stickers. Still, the ugly artwork stands in deep contrast to the beauty of the centuries-old architecture. One must wonder if that isn't the point.

The installation formally opens on October 17 and will remain in place until January 18, which means it will be removed before Mullally's enthronement ceremony to install her as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury.

The displays are truly ... out there.

These include questions [to God] such as 'Are you there?', 'Where does love come from?', 'God, what happens when we die?' and 'Why did you create hate when love is by far more powerful?'

Those are basic Christian teachings.

The things kindergarteners should know.

Maybe if the Canterbury Cathedral actually taught the Bible, it wouldn't need to have street painters ask those questions.

U.S. Vice President JD Vance certainly had thoughts:

It's really a shame, isn't it?
