Climate activist Wynn Bruce, 50, decided to set himself on fire outside the Supreme Court building on Friday (which was Earth Day). He died.

One correction to that tweet: He did not "try" to set himself on fire; he succeeded. There is a video on Twitter but I won't put it here because yeah, it's a man engulfed in flames.

Bruce apparently had planned the suicide for some time and hinted at it in a Facebook post a year ago.

Apparently nobody cared, as neither his post nor his comment had any reactions.
