CNN is now referring to pre-Covid as "the Before Times" 🤨

If you need proof of CNN's religious zeal to the great and mighty god of Rona, here's example ten thousand and five:

My goodness.

"The Before Times."

What is this, the fall of the Galactic Republic?

CNN has been peddling fear the entire dang time since Covid found its way out of Winnie the Pooh's Hundred-Acre Wood.

They sometimes tell people to fear the sun god and sacrifice for the earth goddess, but the mighty Rona god and his high priest Fauci are still a regular offering on the fear-mongering menu.

This time, they want you to be afraid of the lack of groceries in stores (while being weirdly gleeful about it).

Here's the essential info you need to know:

Around 18% of beverages, 15% of frozen foods, 16% of snacks, 15% of candy and 18% of bakery items were out of stock at stores during the week ending on October 3, according to the latest data from IRI, which tracks in-stock levels at leading US grocery chains, big box stores, pharmacies and wholesale clubs.

Before the pandemic, 7% to 10% of products were typically out of stock on shelves, according to IRI.

Somehow I think we'll live by having to buy a different brand of candy and ice cream if our preferred brands are out of stock.

Let's just remember that these supply-chain issues wouldn't be an issue if we wouldn't have had stupid and ineffective lockdown policies combined with vax mandates, port closures, and spending from the government that encouraged people to not work while driving inflation through the roof!

But most of all, let's remember that Covid is a tiny blip on world history, so we shouldn't be dividing said history into "before times" and "after times" around the dumb thing.

It is curious, though. Most religions divide their history based on when they believe something significantly good happened. For Christians, "B.C." and "A.D." stand for "Before Christ" and "Anno Domini" (or Year of Our Lord), because the turning point in human history for them is the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It's a pretty awesome thing to say that before a certain date, humanity had no chance of ever being right with God or each other, but now they have the hope of eternity and amazing grace!

The god of Rona offers no such hope or salvation. Instead, all it offers is penance to a managed decline, where the "After Times" are far more horrendous and scarce than what came before!
