CNN is fake news.
They still haven't apologized for the "very fine people" line that they took wildly out of context, or the "fiery but mostly peaceful" stupidity, or a gazillion other things.
But they did just actually make an interesting point (you know what they say about a broken clock).
Changed for the better, or changed for the worse -- it's changed.
Just look at Lindsey Graham's face after we got Maduro:

The comments, as you would expect, were all over the place. Some people argued that Trump has changed his perspective due to an assassination attempt, multiple attempts to jail him, a successful attempt to take the 2020 election from him, a decade of media lies and impeachment motions against him, and increased crime/instability in the world thanks to leftwing policies.
Other people say he's slowly being possessed by the Swamp and its indestructible swampish tendencies.
