Everyone's suddenly clamoring to meet with President-elect Donald Trump. Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg have been doing their best to make nice with the man who is about to step back into the White House, and now it was Coca-Cola Company Chairman and CEO James Quincey's turn … and he certainly didn't come empty-handed.
Trump is famously a big fan of Diet Coke — even going as far as to install a red "Diet Coke Button" in the Oval Office to have one brought to him on demand — Quincey presented the president-elect with the first-ever commemorative inauguration Diet Coke bottle.
ENHANCE:
From part of the card in the box: "We are proud to continue our decades-long tradition of celebrating the U.S. presidential inauguration"
A lot of presidents have accomplished historic, world-altering things, but have any of them ever received their own Inauguration Diet Coke bottle? Hmmm??
No word yet on whether or not Trump was able to refrain from cracking that bad boy open to quench his thirst.
Now that Coca-Cola has paid its respects, all other beverages are on notice.
Your move, Pepsi.
