Cocaine + Caffeine + John Wick = One ridiculously amped up drug bust

Millions of people start their morning with a cup of joe, but not the super special variety that police found this month in Italy.

Over a quarter pound of cocaine was found stuffed into a package of coffee beans, but not willy nilly like an amateur. No sir, in this case the criminals stuffed the drug into more than 500 individual beans. Each bean had been carefully cut and then resealed with black tape.

Airport police first became suspicious of the package, which was imported into Italy from Columbia, after they saw it was addressed to "Santino D'Antonio," a fictional villain from the John Wick movie franchise. If you're not familiar with the series, it's basically hours of Keanu Reaves doing this over and over again (with lots of gunfire in-between):

Police resealed the package and allowed it to be delivered to a tobacco shop in Florence, where they arrested a 50-year-old man who collected the package.

The important lesson here is that a thorough knowledge of action movies can take down real criminals and save lives. Now if you'll excuse me, I think I need to brush up on my knowledge of The Bourne Identity. 😎
