AOC Tweets What May Be The Craziest Thing She's Ever Said
· Oct 8, 2021 · NottheBee.com

I think we have our balloonhead of the week, and the winner is a familiar one.

Good old AOC is always dependable for a hilarious take now and then, but what she expressed on Thursday night may just take the cake for the dumbest and craziest thing she's ever said:

Healthcare is not an "entitlement" to be earned. It is a human right.

No. Wait. Is she serious?

This isn't a next-level troll, is it?

For anyone who doesn't understand what we are laughing at, let me employ the help of Merriam-Webster dictionary to shed some light on this hilarious statement:

(I took a screenshot of the definition because these days you never know when the dictionaries will go in and edit definitions to comply with leftist demands.)

"A right" is the first definition. "Entitled" and "a right" are LITERALLY synonymous. To be entitled to something is to have a right to it.

You cannot earn an entitlement. If a thing is "something to be earned," it is definitionally not an entitlement.

AOC dislikes the term "entitlement" for two reasons:

  • First, because she doesn't understand the English language all that well
  • Second, because the right has used it as a derogatory description of overreaching government programs.

Obviously, it would be great for everyone to have access to good healthcare. But the push to make it a right for all people is nonsense.

Oh, and even AOC and her own party have a double standard there, too:

But nobody has a right or entitlement to the labor of anyone else. A doctor does not owe you anything. If you use a doctor's services you are in his debt. No magical fairy dust or AOC money tree is going to solve this personal issue.

But for the Left, there are no solutions. Only rhetoric. And when they don't like the words, they change them.

This time, the change was just a little too ridiculous!
