A group of responsible and caring parents, aka conservatives, are boycotting an L.A. elementary school and keeping their children home on June 2 when the school hosts its Gay Pride and Rainbow Day assembly.

A group of parents at the North Hollywood K-5 Saticoy Elementary School created an Instagram page explaining why they're keeping their kids home and others should.

Keep your kids home and innocent on Friday, June 2nd to boycott Gay Pride Spirit / Rainbow Day Assembly

The parents are also organizing a protest that day "against Pride Day assembly, an inappropriate topic for our kids!"

According to one of their Instagram posts, the school won't need parental consent to teach 5th graders sex-ed next year.

Other posts include encouraging messages like "We are taking back control!" And they've also included contact details for school officials encouraging other parents to call and express their concerns.

We said no to COVID-19 vaccines and it's now over. It was a hard fought battle and we won! Now it is time to say stop grooming our children.

The Los Angeles Unified School District released a statement in response to the boycott and protest, claiming they are committed to "creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that embraces the diversity of the communities we serve."

As part of our engagement with school communities, our schools regularly discuss the diversity of the families that we serve and the importance of inclusion. This remains an active discussion with our school communities and we remain committed to continuing to engage with families about this important topic.

That's a funny way to describe grooming. ๐Ÿ‘†
