A Tennessee couple recently woke up to a fun surprise - a new dog!

Jimmy and Julie Johnson own three large hounds so an extra warm body in bed wasn't abnormal. But when Jimmy woke up that morning and rolled over, he asked his wife, "Julie, whose dog is this?"

"He and I locked eyes for a second and just were silent. And I was like, ‘That's not our dog,'" Julie told The Washington Post.

The mystery doggo was splayed across their mattress, very relaxed. No worries in the world.

The Johnsons quickly realized the dog wasn't a threat but where did it come from? Whose dog is it? And why is it in my bed?

The dog was very cute after all!

They took to Facebook to find her owners.

"This is the weirdest post I have ever had to make," Julie Johnson wrote. "Is this your dog?"

According to Julie's "pupdate" (very cute), the dog's name is Nala.

She apparently slipped away from her owners during a walk right before a thunderstorm hit the area. Nala got into the Johnsons' house through a loose door and she went ahead and found herself a nice, cozy, warm spot (their bed) to wait out the storm.

Nala was eventually reunited with her owners and turned into a bit of an internet celeb!

Cris Kawkins, one of Nala's owners wrote on Facebook, "Our overly friendly pup, Nala, has hit an all time record for ignoring personal space and added yet another trick to her long list of Houdini acts."

"Shame [on] Nala for somehow breaking into a stranger's house and invading their personal space," Hawkins added. "Thankfully, the couple thought it was hilarious and they aren't even mad about it."

Who can be mad at that sweet face???

"A dog in the wrong bed brought us all together," said Julie.

The two couples, Nala, and the other three dogs are now all good friends! The Johnsons' even invited Nala's parents over for an ice cream party on Monday. Nala's seen their place, her folks should too!

But maybe this time, they should all stay out of the bed.
