This video is tragically hilarious.
Philadelphia was once one of America's great cities, but, like almost every major US city, crime has been on a huge rise since the George Floyd riots in 2020.
In this interview, after two police officers were shot in the city, Philly mayor Jim Kenney basically tells us that he gives up.
This is a beaten man.
Kenney rattles off all of the big events which have taken place in Philly since he has been mayor, and he laments every single one of them.
That's how out of control he has allowed his city to become.
Kenney: So I'll be happy when I'm not here, when I'm not mayor, and I can enjoy some stuff.
Reporter: You're looking forward to not being mayor?
Kenney: Yeah!
Our once great cities have all become infested with crime, and it continues to get worse.
You know we are in a bad place when the Mayor of Philadelphia can't wait to get out.
