At the Mars M&M factory in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, two employees fell into a vat of chocolate.

No one is sure how they fell into the chocolate, but I have my suspicions.

The chocolate was reportedly not deep, only waist high, but the employees could not escape on their own, nor could factory workers pull them out, so emergency crews were deployed on an extraction mission.

When they also were unable to pull the employees out, emergency crews cut through the tank to extract the employees through the side.

I don't even want to think about the mess that maneuver left, but I'm sure the Oompa Loompas have a song about it.

Both employees were transported to the hospital – one by ambulance and one by helicopter – though at this time the extent of their injuries is also unknown.

There are a lot questions remaining, but if it were me stuck in a vat full of chocolate, I would have yelled, "Fire!"
