NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio has cancelled Christmas.
Well, perhaps he hasn't completely cancelled it, but he has told the citizens of America's largest city that they shouldn't have big family gatherings, dinners, or travel this holiday season. In addition, De Blasio said he's going to look at "more aggressive actions" such as cancelling the annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and policing the city to ensure no citizens of Whoville are being jolly and enjoying food with family and friends.
"They'll gather together and feast, feast, feast. They'll eat their Who-Pudding and rare roast Beast," the mayor probably said. "It's something I just cannot stand the least!"
De Blasio, who has practically leveled war against the Orthodox Jewish community in recent weeks, does think it okay, however, to celebrate en masse in the streets if it's celebrating the downfall of President Trump. While it may be illegal to celebrate Jesus Christ at your grandma's house, it's okay to worship our Lord and Savior Joe Biden, kids!
Here's De Blasio taking selfies a few days ago with massive crowds:
