Defense Secretary Austin says Taliban government isn't "inclusive" and is "more of the same" and apparently you need to be a top-level military official to understand this

Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was a 4-star general in the United States Army, serving as the United States Central Command, the Army Vice Chief of Staff, and the Commanding General of US Forces in Iraq.

In spite of that record, he is apparently surprised that an Islamist terror group wouldn't share the new woke virtue of "inclusivity."

"I think the whole international community was hopeful that they would be inclusive as they kind of said they would be weeks and months ago," Austin told a small group of reporters traveling with him to the Middle East. "But we've not seen evidence of that early on, and so it appears to be many of the same actors."

Austin said the U.S. and the international community would continue "to listen to what they're saying, but we're watching what they're doing and right now it just seems that it's more of the same."

You really can't make this stuff up anymore. You have to wonder just how incompetent our top military brass are and for how long. Tactically speaking, if these guys were to go up against some of America's past generals, they would get defeated in about five seconds flat.

Austin said the United States has "put the Taliban on notice" that it expects them not to allow al-Qaida to regenerate -- something he said would demonstrate that they "are serious about being a bona fide government and respected in the international community."

I can almost guarantee this was the Taliban's reaction to being put "on notice" and being labelled "non-inclusive":

No, but really!

And as for not letting Al Qaida not regenerating, this was likely their response to that:

The bad guys aren't afraid of us anymore.

Why would they be with men like Lloyd Austin in charge?
