Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) said on Monday she "[does not] want to answer" whether she wants to see Joe Biden run for a second term as president in 2024.

KSDK REPORTER MARK MAXWELL: Do you want to see Joe Biden run for a second term?"

BUSH'S AIDE: She's got to go.

BUSH: Yeah, I -- you know --"

MAXWELL: That's an easy question. That's not going to take long. Do you want to see Joe Biden run--

BUSH: I don't want to answer that question because we have not, that's not... Yeah, I don't want to answer that question.

MAXWELL: Okay.

BUSH: I mean, he's the president. He has the right to run for a second term, absolutely.

Bush's comments were made at local station KSDK's voter guide event ahead of Missouri's primary elections next Tuesday, including for her current seat in the U.S. House.

Her primary opponent, state Sen. Steve Roberts, responded to the clip:

"I support the president. Full stop," Missouri state Sen. Steve Roberts said. "I'm curious to know who Rep. Bush intends on supporting."
