DeSantis just signed constitutional carry into law in Florida, meaning the US now has a majority of states that support constitutional carry

DeSantis slapped his John Hancock onto the latest bill from the Florida legislature and expanded constitutionally protected gun rights to all Floridians, making Florida the 26th state to adopt a constitutional carry law.

We're returning closer to the founding than we have in a century now that a majority of states respect the constitutional right to bear arms. Florida, being the 26th state to adopt the policy, is finally catching up with conservative states across the country.

The Florida Senate passed the law in a 27-13 vote, and sent the bill to DeSantis who signed the bill into law yesterday, which will go into effect on July 1.

The law as written and signed allows anyone over 21 years of age to carry firearms without paying a fee or being required to have a permit.

The White House, however, called the move by DeSantis "shameful" because being in line with the Constitution and a majority of states is so awful in the eyes of the Democrats.

Here's what KJP had to say about DeSantis guaranteeing constitutional protections and rights to American citizens:

"It is shameful that so soon after another tragic school shooting, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law a permitless concealed carry bill behind closed doors, which eliminates the need to get a license to carry a concealed weapon. This is the opposite of common-sense gun safety..."

"The people of Florida — who have paid a steep price for state and congressional inaction on guns from Parkland to Pulse Nightclub to Pine Hills — deserve better."

Ahh yes, because some wackos get guns and shoot up schools and nightclubs, you have to sacrifice your ability to defend yourself and your family from these sorts of attacks.

Chalk up another win for the Republicans in Florida under the leadership of Ronny D!
