DeSantis says many federal departments need to be moved out of DC ... sounds like he's looking to "drain the swamp"

Ron DeSantis is a man of action.

He gets stuff done.

And now, ahead of a potential 2024 presidential run, Ron DeSantis is speaking action again. And this time he means business.

Yup, dude wants to drain the swamp.

And you know what, it sounds like he's actually got a plan to do so.

Showing some leg on a future national agenda, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) tells interviewer Salena Zito that many federal government departments should be moved outside D.C…

"Too much power has accumulated in D.C., and the result is a detached administrative state that rules over us and imposes its will on us," DeSantis told Zito in an interview in today's New York Post, teased on the tabloid's cover as "HOME RON."

  • "While there are a host of things that need to be done to re-constitutionalize government, parceling out federal agencies to other parts of the country could help reduce the negative effects of this accumulation of power."

And with Ron DeSantis, it's action.

I'll take this man at his word that with even the slightest majority in the House of Representatives, he'll follow through with this plan and he'll get it done.

It's just what he does.

I'll leave this here for good measure:

DeSantis beats former President Trump in an increasing number of polls of Republican voters about their '24 preferences.

DeSantis is a man whose actions speak louder than any mantra ever could.

We can sit here all day and chant "drain the swamp" like it's a fun little game we're playing to own the libs.

Or — and hear me out — we could actually get to work on draining the swamp and start getting some of these government departments out of D.C. where they're just being milked for power and money.
