DeSantis Slams Media For Lying About Him Attending The White House Correspondents' Dinner: "I Would NEVER Attend That. I Have No Interest In That."

The other night at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, the host Trevor Noah decided that it would be a good idea to lie about the presence of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis showing up to the event.

I'm sorry that I must admit this, but Trevor Noah was actually pretty funny.

The only problem, he totally said that DeSantis was at the event when he wasn't.

And DeSantis is, rightly, VERY offended that it would even be suggested that he dignify that event with his presence.

I would NEVER attend that. I have no interest in that. I did not watch it, I do not care what they do. But for them to advertise me when that invitation was rejected by my office, that is a lie.

The joke would work whether or not DeSantis was in the room. Just slightly change the wording, Trevor. It isn't hard.

No need to lie.

DeSantis then absolutely destroys the self-important jokers in the mainstream media.

So here they are, saying how important they are. That they're somehow these paragons of truth. And yet there they are lying about something that is readily verifiable.

And so the idea that I was there is false. The idea that I would have ever gone is false. And why they would wanna try to perpetuate a lie about that, I don't know.

But I think it just shows you why that cabal of people in DC, New York, are so reviled by so many Americans. I think it's a reputation that's been well deserved.

DeSantis absolutely nails it.

These corporate media guys are nothing more than left-wing propagandists and participating in these events is only rewarding their bad behavior.
