Starting today, January 1, 2024, California is allowing illegal immigrants to be covered under a free healthcare plan.

And by "free" we mean paid for by California taxpayers.

REPORT: Illegal immigrants will be eligible for free health care in California starting in the new year.

The Democrat voting laundering scheme is in full swing.

The Medi-Cal expansion will allow a whopping 700,000 illegal immigrants between the ages of 26 and 49 to receive full coverage.

The left will do anything for votes.

First reparations, now healthcare for illegal border crossers. You'd think California was just trying to think of ways to burn money!

And, of course, it's not all one big payoff to current and future Democrat voters, right?

From the New York Post:

The state, which faces a $68 billion deficit in the next fiscal year, has been steadily expanding access to its Medi-Cal health insurance program for low-income residents, allowing undocumented children to qualify for the taxpayer-funded program in 2015, then expanding it under Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom to cover undocumented adults between the ages of 19-25 and those over 50.

On Jan. 1, California will become the first state to offer free health care to all qualifying individuals — regardless of immigration status or age.

The Democrats' master plan to subvert the American populace and import a new class of loyal Democrat voters is working wonderfully.

Who cares if California is already tens of billions in the hole? What's another few bills to ensure Democrat victories for a generation to come?

Whoops, I mean "secure healthcare" for these poor and put-upon migrants! California's politicians only care about the downtrodden! Politicians never have ulterior motives.

At least one town in California is standing up to this absolute nonsense.

Mayor Bill Wells of El Cajon noted that $1 million in local taxes is being spent monthly to help migrants instead of locals who need it. He said, "Instead of focusing on the needs of taxpaying citizens, it is placing illegal immigrants at the front of the line, by providing free healthcare for undocumented immigrants."

That about sums it up.
