Man, prayers up for Scott Adams, y'all.
The famed political commentator and cartoonist genius announced today that he has the exact same cancer diagnosis as President Biden and that he doesn't expect to make it through the next few months.
I've decided that today's the day I'm going to take the opportunity ... to make an announcement of my own ... I have the same cancer that Joe Biden has. So I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones. But I've had it longer than he's had it, well, longer than he's admitted to having it. So my life expectancy is maybe the summer. I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer.
Adams tragically goes on to explain the "option" in California he lobbied for years ago that allows someone with terminal illness to take a "juice" as he calls it and go to sleep forever and "take yourself out" when the pain becomes intolerable.
According to Adams, he's already to the intolerable level.
Now, the disease is already intolerable. I can tell you that I don't have good days. So, if you're wondering, 'So, Scott, do you have any good days?' Nope. Nope. Every day is a nightmare. And evening is even worse ...
I've been using a walker to walk for months now. So, it's basically intolerable.
There's a lot of analysis that could go into Adams's attitude towards death, but this is not the time or the place with news just now breaking.
