Remember this?
On Monday, a man named Frederick Doe, who helped those perps try to sell the solid-gold toilet, was given a suspended sentence and ordered to serve the community.
From Sky News:
On Monday at Oxford Crown Court, Judge Ian Pringle KC sentenced Doe to 21 months imprisonment suspended for two years and ordered him to do 240 hours unpaid work.
The judge said Doe had knowledge of valuable watches and "legitimate contacts in jewelry district Hatton Garden" and comes from a wealthy family, which is why the perps tried to use Doe as a fence for the gold when they stole the toilet in 2019.
(The toilet was never recovered.)
The 18-carat toilet was in Blenheim Palace, the house where Winston Churchill was born, as part of a traveling exhibit created by artist Maurizio Cattelan, the same guy that duct-taped that banana to the wall.
Cattelan named the toilet exhibit "America."

The judge believes Doe assisted the criminals "without any hope or expectation of a reward" for himself.
You do things for people as favour without any expectation of reward for yourself. You no doubt, for the last five-and-a-half years, regret doing for James Sheen every day since your arrest.
Because of this, Doe was given time served.
The would-be toilet salesman had this to say:
My good nature has been taken advantage of. I got caught up in something I should not have and now I just want to go home and enjoy my family. I am a good person.
Silly Doe: Don't you know that no one is good except God alone?
Reflect on that while you sit on your own porcelain throne. đ
